April 2013 - Max Wright
Max has been with the L&S family for over a year and is an awesome addition to our dishcrew. He is always prompt and respectable to his fellow co-workers. In his spare time Max enjoys his three kids and working out. Thanks Max for your hard work.

March 2013 - Demonta Floyd
Demonta is 24 years old from savannah. He has been working at the L&S for ten months. His favorite part about working here is the ability to take care of our guests, behind the scenes. He hopes to one day become a great server. Demonta says “I love it here”!!

March 2013 - William Johnson
William has been with Lady and Sons for several months now and has quickly become a valued member of the staff. He started as a dishwasher here and now works as a buffet attendant. William shows a great attitude and initiative. He is great with customers and always willing to lend a helping hand. Thanks William for everything you do for us.

February 2013 - Entire Kitchen Staff!
To show our appreciation for all their hard work and dedication, we have awarded the employee of the month to the entire kitchen staff. There are too many to name, but we have a wonderful experienced team that really keeps this place running. Thanks for everything you do for us and keep up the hard work. January 2013 - Lisa Early
Lisa Early was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia. She was educated in the public school system. She graduated from Tompkins High School in 1985. Later in life she had two children; one daughter and one son. She also has one granddaughter. Lisa is a huge fan of the Atlanta Falcons. She has been with the Lady and Sons team for a year and a half now and is a valued member. Lisa works a variety of positions in our kitchen which is a great asset to the restaurant.

January 2013 - Jerrod Smith
Jerrod Smith, Brother of 9 year employee Will Smith. He is a graduate of Clemson University. Jerrod and his brother have created a homemade comic book; with a Computer Science degree background, it has helped him build their website for their comic book.

December 2012 - Terry Clayborn
Terry Clayborn Jr. is a 21 year old junior at Savannah State University. There, he studies Mass Communications with a major concentration in public relations and advertising. Terry hopes to one day become a broadcaster and/or a radio or T.V. personality. Terry has been a member of our bus team for 9 months, where he leads other team members and inspires others.

November 2012 - Joseph Walker
Joseph is one of the newest members of our dish team but has proved to be a valuable addition to the group. He comes in with a great attitude, works hard, and always keeps the mood light. Joe is originally from Manhattan, New York . He likes to play basketball and shoot pool in his spare time. He also enjoys cooking when he gets the opportunity. His attitude and productivity make Joseph “Creepwater” Walker a welcome addition to the Lady and Sons team.

November 2012 - Orlandon Edwards
Orlandon Edwards joined The Lady and Sons family four years ago and is currently serving tables at the restaurant. His genuine hospitality, exceptional service and attention to detail are his greatest attributes on the job. Orlandon grew up in Savannah and is currently enrolled at Savannah State University. Being single, Orlandon enjoys spending time with family and friends, working on cars and playing football. He really loves talking to guests and hearing stories about places from around the world.

October 2012 - Tommy Alford
Tommy is one of the newest but most valuable members of our buffet team at the Lady and Sons. He is originally from Queens, New York. Tommy enjoys reading and playing basketball in his spare time. He also enjoys helping the homeless and less fortunate whenever possible. Tommy is always punctual and energetic which contributes greatly to our staff.

September 2012 - David Green
David is a valuable member of our dish team. His professionalism and willingness to be a team player are two of his greatest assets. David enjoys spending time with his two sons ages eight and five. He shares his life experiences and offers grilling and cooking knowledge to both of them. David also relaxes by reading. One of his favorite authors is Robert Ludlum. In his spare time David also plays basketball and does odd jobs.

September 2012 - Jelisa Barnes
Jelisa has been at the lady and sons for almost 6 months. Jelisa loves to go to church with her two sons Jamari and Jakell, and spend quality time with her family and friends. Jelisa is a big fan of Paula Deen and loves working with the host team here. Jelisa loves her co-workers and the guests and has big smile everyday. Jelisa is one of the pillars of our host team and we are so happy to have her as part of our Lady and Sons family.

August 2012 - Morgann Daniels
Morgann Daniels has lived in Savannah for six years now. She is from San Diego, CA and originally moved to Georgia to go to SCAD to study illustration. Morgann has been apart of our SA team for 4 months now, and she also works as a freelance illustrator. “I love my job and the staff here are very friendly. My favorite part about working at the Lady and Sons is how excited people get when I bring bread to their table. Coming to Paula Deen’s is the highlight of some peoples trips to Savannah, and I really enjoy being apart of that.”

July 2012 - Eric Thomas
Eric Thomas cooks in the buffet area of the kitchen and has been with the restaurant for four months. The experience he adds to The Lady and Sons family is greatly appreciated. He remains calm and collected during hectic situations He is very dedicated to his work as he holds down two jobs. In his spare time Eric loves watching football and is a huge Bulldog fan. WOOF!! WOOF!!

July 2012 - Nathan Marsh
Nathan Marsh is from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. He has been a member of our host team for the past year. When Nate is note busy seating guests and taking reservations, he works as a freelance illustrator. He also draws comics, and loves to read non fiction. He aspires to be a published author one day, until then he is focused on his goal of being promoted to a server. We are very happy to have him as part of our host team. Keep that smile Nate!

June 2012 - William Johnson
William joined us as a dishwasher in early May. He has a strong work ethic and his positive attitude helps keep things moving while sustaining a team environment. William relaxes in his spare time by writing poetry and music. He really enjoys working at The Lady and Sons and feels that his work is more than just a job. Originally from Atlanta, William has lived in Savannah for seven years and loves the historic charm of down town.

June 2012 - Jamar Hill
Jamar has been with The Lady and Sons for three years. He is currently working in our buffet area as a cook. We love Jamar’s attention to detail and his ability to multitask. Currently single Jamar enjoys fishing, bowling and shooting pool for recreation. He also loves to cook in his spare time. Jamar is working towards a degree from Savannah Tech’s culinary program.

June 2012 - Rashad Freeman
Rashad is a twenty-four-year-old senior at Savannah State University where he is studying behavior analysis. Rashad is from Atlanta Georgia and is an aspiring singer, model, and comedian. Rashad has been at the Lady and Sons for three months and hopes to become a server soon.

May 2012 - Coi Clark
Coi Clark is a 21-year-old from Jamaica. He has been working for the Deen family for 10 months. Coi is a senior business management student at Savannah State University. In his spare time, he likes to read, watch movies, and hang out with friends. Coi hopes to become a server soon.

April 2012 - Vaughn Nelson
Vaughn has been member of our host team for the past year. He always brings a happy and helping attitude in to work every day. Vaughn moved to Savannah from NY to study film at the Savannah Collage of Art and Design. His plans for the future are to become a server at the restaurant and to graduate and move on to the next step in his life.

April 2012 - Adam Ford
Adam Ford is a cook on our night line. Although he has only been working with us for a few months he has shown tremendous cooking knowledge and skill. He graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2007, with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science. Adam is originally from New Orleans. Since moving to Savannah he has been sightseeing, enjoying the local cuisine and hanging out in Savannah’s beautiful public parks with his dog. In his spare time he can be found watching movies and working on computers.

March 2012 - Isaiah Campbell
Isaiah Campbell has been a Lady and Sons employee for 11 years. He has worked so many positions, there are too many to name here. Currently, Ike has been working as a shift manager. His vast knowledge in the kitchen makes him invaluable to us. When he is not working, Ike enjoys watching sports and playing video games.

March 2012 - Akil Fenn
Akil has been with The Lady and Sons for the past year. He fulfills many positions to help us achieve our goals for hospitality and service to our guests. Akil is currently attending Savannah High School and Savannah State University. Akil plays football for the Blue Jackets and plans to study film at Savannah Collage of Art and Design or Georgia Southern University.

February 2012 - Catherine Cleveland
Catherine Cleveland has been working at the Lady and Sons as a buffet attendant for a year and a half. The smile and positive energy that she brings to the restaurant is contagious. Catherine is the mother of four beautiful children. She enjoys listening to music and is an avid dancer. She also enjoys watching basketball in her free time.

February 2012 - Asonta Harrison
Asonta Harrison Has worked as a server assistant for the past seven months. “I love working with the employees here at The Lady and Sons”. She is proud that the managers have recognized her for her hard work and dedication towards her job. In her free time Asonta loves spending time with family and shopping!

January 2012 - Nita “Jelly Roll” Jones
Nita “Jelly Roll” Jones has been an integral part of the Lady and Sons team for 15 years. She started with Paula at our 311 W. Congress St location. She worked as a cook in the buffet area until we moved into our new building and then decided to focus on baking our popular hoe cakes and garlic cheese biscuits. When she is not working she likes to cook breakfast for her neighbors. She is looking forward to unwinding on the upcoming 2012 Party at Sea Paula Deen Cruise!!!!!

January 2012 - Lauren Porter
Lauren Porter has been Hosting at the restaurant for six months. She was born and raised in Savannah, Ga. She is currently attending Armstrong Atlantic State University. In her free time Lauren loves to play tennis, swimming and spending time with friends and family.

January 2012 - Leslie Holmes
Leslie Holmes has been working as a baker in the restaurant for five years. She reminisces about when she was hired and says that this is her dream job. Leslie’s passion is preparing pastries and watching folks enjoy her creation. Cooking for her children and one grandbaby truly makes her happy. Leslie is also a massive Pittsburgh Steelers fan and has enjoyed watching them play since the 1970’s. She was born in Savannah and plans on staying forever. Leslie has a positive and pleasant personality and is a joy to have in our kitchen family.

December 2011 - Zach Scrim
Zach has been a member of The Lady and Sons server assistant team for three months. Zach moved from Pennsylvania to pursue working on independent film projects. He enjoys the family atmosphere and works hard side by side all the employees at the restaurant. Zach brings a strong work ethic and positive attitude to work every day.

December 2011 - Mathew Taylor
Mathew is presently a busser at The Lady and Sons but hopes, by hard work and dedication, to soon move up to server. He strives to provide the very best of southern hospitality. When he’s not working, Mathew enjoys exploring Savannah with his wife Katherine, who attends SCAD, and their dog Charlie. Mathew is friendly, knowledgeable and helps everyone to truly enjoy their experience at The Lady and Sons.

December 2011 - Winston Rivers
Winston has been a valuable part of our dish team for six months. He really enjoys working in the family atmosphere at the Lady and Sons. Winston has lived in Savannah all of his life and is a proud father of four children. In his off time Winston enjoys cooking, detailing cars and watching sports. He is truly a hard working, easy to get along with and well rounded individual.

September 2011 - Shubi Kyaruzi
Shubi has been a part of our host team for the past year she brings a bright smile and energetic attitude to work every day. She is from Dar-Es-Salaam, Tanzania. Shubi is a junior at Armstrong Atlantic State University, studying information Technology. Shubi enjoys working for the Deen family. “I enjoy it a lot, the coworkers are friendly and helpful, making it easy to work together.”

September 2011 - Delilah Palmer
Delilah originally from Oklahoma City moved to Savannah three years after being honorably discharged from the Marine Corps. She has been employed at the Lady and Sons for a year and a half and is currently enrolled at Savannah Technical College’s Culinary Arts Program. Upon graduation she would like to attend a four year university and continue her goal of becoming a Chef and owning her own restaurant. In her limited free time she likes to cook, read and dine out with friends and family.

August 2011 - Taj Royal
Taj has been with The Lady and Sons for over a year. He is one of our most outstanding young men. He is a member of our bus team with a bright future. He is the proud father of four beautiful children. In his off time, Taj enjoys swimming, biking, playing basketball, worshiping God and hanging out with his friends and family. “ I love my job, it gives me a great sense of fulfillment to serve others and to be a part of such a positive establishment. I truly appreciate the wonderful staff (family).” And “ a special thanks to my wonderful mother!”

August 2011 - Melvin Tomas
Melvin Tomas has been with The Lady & Sons for 7 years. He knows all of the positions in all the areas of the kitchen. Melvin also fills in as a manager when needed. He is a pleasure to work with do to his great attitude. In his off time, he enjoys watching movies and playing with his grandson.

July 2011 - Whitney Hall
Whitney joined The Lady and Sons as a server assistant in April. She also works for the Paula Deen Gift Shop. She has worked for the Paula Deen Gift Shop for two years. In her spare time she also works at Publix Supermarket and focusing on her future. Whitney is a senior at the Savannah Arts Academy high school. After graduation she will be attending the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. “Joining The Lady and Sons bandwagon has taught me the definition of team work, and being proficient.” “Whitney is a wonderful asset to the Paula Deen Store and The Lady and Sons. July 2011 - Anthony Patterson
Anthony Patterson has been working with us for 3 years. He was recognized as our employee of the month for his recent efforts to take more responsibility by learning new positions in our buffet area. He is now well versed in all the different positions of the buffet kitchen. He hopes to continue to learn as many areas as possible. Anthony has a great attitude and enjoys kitchen work. Away from work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids.

June 2011 - Ben Zylberman
Ben joined the Lady and Sons bus squad in March 2011 after hearing about our family-oriented work environment. He always comes to work with a smile on his face and is prepared to meet any obstacle with a team-first mentality. Ben originally came to Savannah to pursue a post graduate degree in Sequential Arts from SCAD. When not at work, Ben focuses his time on concept illustration for the film and gaming industry.

June 2011 - Carrie Miller
Carrie Miller is originally from North Carolina and has lived in Savannah for 30 years and loves it. She has been with us at The Lady and Sons for six months and has already learned three key
work stations and is eager to learn more. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and playing with her great grand children. We all enjoy working with Carrie here at the Lady and Sons.

May 2011 - Ryan English
Ryan has worked at The Lady and Sons for three months on our bus team. Ryan always has a smile on his face and his nose to the grindstone. He picked up on our reputation for team work quite easily and has made a positive impact on our business. He has lived in Savannah for three years. Ryan is the proud father of two beautiful girls. When he is not working or busy being a father he is busy making comics. Ryan is proud to be a part of The Lady and Sons family.

May 2011 - Richard McKinsey
Richard has worked at The Lady and Sons for 7 years. He started as a dishwasher and quickly worked his way up to morning stocker. In his off time he enjoys watching the Food Network and sports with his family. Richard is originally from Miami FL, but has been living in Savannah for the past 8-9 years. He loves Savannah and plans on staying indefinitely.

April 2011 - Louie Johansen
Louie has worked for The Lady and Sons for 3 years. He started out as a bus boy and has worked his way up to be one of our most important servers. Louie is the definition of team player. He goes above and beyond what is needed to help out all our employees on a daily bases. Louie is from Savannah and graduated from Georgia Southern University. Louie plays for “The Sons” softball team. He has made lifelong friends while working here. Louie has a bright future and looks forward to all the opportunities in his future at The Lady and Sons.

April 2011 - Ike Campbell
Ike grew up in Savannah and has worked for The Lady and Sons for 11 years. He loves watching all sports but his favorite team to watch is the Dallas Mavericks. His first job with us was as a dish washer. He now has become one of the most knowledgeable and dependable cooks in our kitchen. He looks forward to learning new things and taking on more responsibilities in the future.

March 2011 - Benjamin D. James IV
Benjamin is from Atlanta, Ga. He graduated from Westlake High School in 2003. After high school he enlisted in the Air Force as a F-15 Crew Chief. After the Air Force Benjamin enrolled at Savannah State University where he is majoring in Mass Communications. When he is not at work Benjamin spends time mentoring at the Futures Outreach. He is currently working on a curriculum that will open mic’s to build literacy and speaking skills for teens. Benjamin enjoys working at The Lady and Sons and is eagerly awaiting opportunities for more responsibility.

March 2011 - Greg Voight
Greg Voight has been working at the Lady and Son’s for one year. He can work any position on our dinner a la carte line. Greg has finished school and will graduate from the Savannah tech culinary arts program in May. Greg is single and enjoys the downtown Savannah atmosphere. He also spends some of his spare time on the computer.

February 2011 - Casey Johnson
Casey has been working for The Lady and Sons for ten months. She is a valuable member of our host team. She is friendly to the guests and is always willing to help her coworkers. Casey attended SCAD, where she graduated with a degree in advertising. In her spare time, Casey likes to hang out with friends and go to the beach.

February 2011 - Rodney Tanner
Rodney has been with The Lady and Sons for almost a year. He has a great work ethic and an awesome attitude. He started with us washing dishes and now is one of our best chicken fryers. Rodney spends his free time with his four sons. He takes family time very seriously. He also enjoys the “family” atmosphere at The Lady and Sons.

January 2011 - Justin McCarthy
Justin has been a valuable member of our bus team for close to a year. Justin is always willing to help his coworkers and guests at The Lady and Sons. He brings a strong work ethic and pleasant attitude to each shift. Justin enjoys jazz music, camping in the mountains, playing backgammon, wine tasting and spending time with family. Justin is also a team leader of the maintenance team at The Landing Tennis Courts.

January 2011 - Winston Fields
Winston Fields has been working at the Lady and Sons for nine months. He is currently working as a fry cook on the night a la carte line. Winston has been cooking professionally for 12 years. He is originally from West Palm Beach, FL and is a huge Miami Dolphins fan. He has four children, of which there is one set of twins. He enjoys spending time with them and watching them grow. Winston looks forward to the coming busy season here in Savannah.

December 2010 - Jeff Lane
Jeff has been with The Lady and Sons for five months and is a valuable member of our bus team. Jeff always shows up to work with a positive attitude and ready to help the team. Jeff loves all thing UGA (University of Georgia, GO DAWGS!!). In his spare time, Jeff is part of a bowling team and spends time with friends and family. Jeff is the older brother of one of our long time servers, Sheppie Lane.

December 2010 - Rayshawn Johnson
Rayshawn has been with The Lady and Sons for two and a half years. He has two young boys that keep him very busy. Most Sundays you can catch Rayshawn on the basketball courts at Forsyth Park. He enjoys cooking at home and on the job. Rayshawn knows every position on the night line and is a valuable team player.

November 2010 - Shanetria Baxter
Shanetria has been working with us for seven months as a server assistant. She has a wonderful attitude and is one of the hardest working employees I’ve had the pleasure to work with. Shanetria was born and raised in Savannah. She is attending Savannah Technical College to become an Dental Assistant. After a long days work, Shanetria loves being with family and taking long walks through the parks.

November 2010 - Alex Jabr
Alex Jabr was our employee of the month for November. He has been working with us for 4 months. Alex is currently a student in the culinary program at Savannah Tech. He is also a member of the Hot Food Team that participates in the American Culinary Federation student competitions. They recently won the regional and state competitions and placed with a silver medal in the national competition. Alex is looking to gain as much experience as he can to further his culinary career.

October 2010 - Julianne Steger
Julianne Steger has worked for The Lady and Sons for three months. She is a member of our host team. She displays a friendly attitude towards our gust and her teammates everyday she works. She always goes above and beyond to make sure our guests get outstanding service. Julianne is in her final year at the Savannah College of Art and Design, where she is studying Architecture and Historic Preservation. Julianne is from Indianapolis, Indiana and is a Colts fan!! She loves Savannah: “The weather is amazing; the people here are charming. I have met so many fabulous and genuine people here, and that includes The Lady and Sons.”

October 2010 - Canscelow “Dominique” Taylor
Canscelow “Dominique” Taylor has worked at The Lady and Sons for a year. He is a buffet attendant. Dominique was our employee of the month for October because of his hard work, great attitude, and his customer service. His attendance record is flawless. He is currently enrolled as a full time student at Savannah State University. He is a freshman but is leaning towards history as a major. Outside of work he loves to read and watch films. He also plays basketball. He is looking forward to the coming years with us at The Lady and Sons.

September 2010 - Nicholas (Nick) Webb
Nick is one of our hardest working server assistants. He enjoys making his guests and coworkers smile. When Nick is not at working at the restaurant, he spends time playing guitar and singing at Savannah Christian.

September 2010 - Maurice Mack
Maurice Mack has been an employee at The Lady and Sons for just shy of three years. He works nights in our dish area but has proved to be a big help in other areas when needed. Maurice enjoys cooking and having fun with his friends. He enjoys listening to music and working hard. Maurice looks forward to receiving more training and looks to work in our prep area in the future.

August 2010 - Ester Garlobo
Ester Garlobo has been an employee at The Lady and Sons for three months. In that time she has learned to prep and bake. There is no task that Ester cannot complete. She has been a great addition to our team and we are happy to have her with us. She is a mother of four and has been married for 28 years. She enjoys the team work and the diversity of our employees and guests. Ester looks forward to learning as much as she can and developing a successful career at The Lady and Sons.

August 2010 - Jensen Capps
Jensen Capps has worked for The Lady and Sons for the past two years. She started on our host team and quickly worked her way up to our server staff. She has been providing our guest with outstanding service and southern hospitality from her very first day. Jensen is studying Nursing at Savannah Tech. She loves her job and all the friends she has meet through the years. Including her fiance……Congratulations!!

July 2010 - Kalen Claxton
Kalen Claxton has been with us as a dishwasher for three months. In his time off he enjoys spending time with his kids. He also likes to watch football and action movies, and barbequing on the grill. His hard work, attention to detail and great attitude were the main reasons we named him employee of the month for July. Kalen looks forward to his future at The Lady and Sons.

July 2010 - Amanda Marcussen
Amanda has been part of our host team for four month. She always has a positive attitude and is very thorough in her work. She currently attend SCAD studying motion Media Design. ‘I enjoy working here because we make memories everyday’.

June 2010 - Jonathan Ketterer
Jonathan A.K.A (JK) has been with the Lady and Sons for five months on our bus team. Jonathan works hard every day. He always works well with others and treats all of our guests with true southern hospitality. Jonathan graduated from S.C.A.D where he studied Architecture. In his free time, JK likes to swim and is a member of the S.C.A.D Bike Club.

June 2010 - Jamar Hill
Jamar Hill has been a Buffet Attendant for five months. He is currently enrolled at Savannah Technical College in the culinary program. Jamar brings tremendous energy to work every day. He is a people person, which shows through with his attention to our guests. Jamar is looking to grow in the restaurant field and hone his techniques that he is learning in school. Jamar stood out as our employee of the month, and we look forward to his continued success with us.

May 2010 - Lorena Walden
Lorena has been with us for two and half years. She works as a host and a server assistant. Lorena brings a positive attitude and very strong work ethic every day that she comes to work. She is always willing to do anything ask of her. She is the ultimate team employee willing to help everyone she works with. She takes great pride in her costumer service. Lorena has over 14 year customer service experience. Lorena has a daughter Lori who is her driving force and her greatest accomplishment. In her off time Lorena loves reading, painting, swimming and working in her garden. Lorena’s favorite thing about the Lady and Sons is “the people she works with are like family”.

April 2010 - Tony Vaughn
Tony Vaughn is one our most beloved and hard working waiters that we have ever had here at the Lady and Sons. He is outstanding young man who loves his job, and you can see it through his attitude and hard work. In his off time, he enjoys spending time with his 7-year-old daughter, Alexis. Toney also enjoys playing football, basketball and fishing. He loves working at The Lady and Sons because “of the friendly and family atmosphere.”

April 2010 - Thomas Wright
Thomas Wright is a dishwasher on our day shift. He has been working with us for about seven months. Thomas brings a great attitude and willingness to work every day. He likes the environment and the diversity of our staff. Thomas is looking forward to a busy summer of hard work and continued success.

March 2010 - Lane Gardner
Lane has worked for our bus team for seven months. He always comes to work with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. He is a graduate of Mercer University with a major in Vocal Performance. In his time off, Lane enjoys playing music and hanging out with friends.

March 2010 - Nivea Gregory
Nivea Gregory has been an employee of The Lady and Sons for nearly six years. She began working as a hoecake maker and then moved to baking after a year. Nivea primarily works as a baker but often fills in for a variety of positions. She enjoys the people and the work environment of the kitchen. Nivea loves to shop and spend time with her two daughters. She hopes to one day open her own bakery in Savannah.

February 2010 - Gwendolyn Schott
Gwen has worked on the Host team for six months. She always brings a positive attitude and a big smile to work every day. She is a senior in the interior design program at SCAD. In her free time she likes to draw, paint, and hang out with her friends. “ I love having the opportunity to interact with all the different types of people at the Lady and Sons. If your nice to folks, they’re always nice right back at you”.

February 2010 - Terrio Young
Terrio Young has been a Lady and Sons employee for a year and a half. He worked as a dishwasher for a year and moved up to our day line. He has been a valued cook since he was promoted. Terrio does whatever it takes to get the job done. In his spare time he enjoys to read, write and watch sports. He is looking forward to the next few years of working hard and learning more about the restaurant business.

January 2010 - Monette Schroer
Monette has worked for the Lady and Sons as a server assistant. She brings a positive attitude and hard working personality to this part of our team. She has lived in Savannah for 13 years but is originally from Joplin, MO. Monette is a SCAD graduate with a degree in Metals and Jewelry. When not working at the Lady and Sons, she hangs out with friends and works on her Jewelry.

January 2010 - Deandre Jenkins
Deandre Jenkins has been a Lady and Sons employee for three years. This is the second time Deandre has been named employee of the month. He brings tremendous energy and passion to the job every day. Most of his time is spent with our dish team, however, lately he has been training on day prep. Deandre is looking forward to our busy season and gaining more experience with our prep department.

December 2009 - Orion G. Alden
Orion G. Alden has work for the Lady and Sons for five months as part of our bus team. He is currently attending SCAD and majoring in Graphic Design & Wed design On his free time Orion enjoys walking the beautiful streets of Savannah, trips to the beach and hanging out with quality friends. If he could be any of Paula Deens dishes he would be a garlic and cheese biscuit!!

December 2009 - Gloria Patterson
Gloria Patterson was our December Employee of the Month. Gloria has worked at The Lady and Sons as a hoe cake/biscuit maker for over two years. She has proved to be one of our most consistent and reliable employees in her time here. Gloria comes to work ready to go and has great attitude and work ethic.

November 2009 - Matt Hebermehl
Matt aka “Pepper” has been with The Lady and Sons for six years. Matt is an award winning, nationally recognized artist moonlighting as a server at The Lady and Sons. With fame and fortune just around the corner, Matt continues to work for the Deen family, which has been one of his biggest supporters. You can see Matt’s work at www.hebermehl.com.

November 2009 - Ronald Tanner
Ronald Tanner has been an employee of The Lady and Sons for 3 years. He is our night shift dish supervisor. Ronald enjoys his job and brings a great attitude to work every day. He was named employee of the month for his hard work and positive leadership skills of the dish team. In his spare time he enjoys helping out as a coach in a local youth football league.

October 2009 - Michael Shirey
Michael Shirey is in his last year at the Savannah College of Art and Design. He has been with the Lady and Sons for four months. Michael is on the bus team but is willing to do any job that is asked of him. Michael always brings a positive attitude to work. Michael enjoys traveling, music and hanging out with friends.

October 2009 - Isaiah Campbell
Isaiah Campbell has been a Lady and Sons Employee for over 8 years. Ike works as a night time buffet cook. He was named employee of the month for filling in several different positions in the kitchen. Ike has a great knowledge of all the different departments in the kitchen. His attitude and know how make him an asset to The Lady and Sons.

September 2009 - Katie Beezley
Katie Beezley, Has work on our host team for six months. Katie is from Hurtsboro, Alabama and recently graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Art History and Italian. She is working on a masters degree at SCAD. In her free time she enjoys painting, shopping, riding her pink bike and spending time with family. Her parents are her Heroes! “My favorite part of working at The Lady and Sons is the people I work with everyday.”

September 2009 - Kelvin Coleman
Kelvin Coleman, our nighttime prep cook has been a Lady and Sons employee for 4 years. Prep is Kelvin’s specialty but was elected employee of the month because of his hard work this past month filling in at several different positions in the kitchen. His great attitude and general kitchen know how has made him a valuable employee. In his off time he likes to volunteer his time coaching in local youth football leagues.

August 2009 - Eugenie Charles
Eugenie Charles has been an employee at The Lady and Sons for four years. Since that time she has worked in many positions from baking, buffet attendant to catering. Genie brings a great attitude and work ethic to the table. Currently she is cooking and working in our retail store. In her off time she is kept busy raising her kids. Genie looks forward to the coming years at The Lady and Sons.

August 2009 - Justin Saffian
Justin Saffian, has worked on our bus team for three months. Justin works hard every day and brings a very positive attitude to our staff. He enjoys remodeling houses and real estate. In his off time, he also likes playing flag football and surfing. “Coming to work with a big smile is the key to my success.”

July 2009 - Adam Wolfinger
Adam has worked for The Lady & Sons for ten months. This is Adam’s second employee of the month this year. He moved up to a server and has brought his strong work ethic and energy with him. Every shift he works, I get so many compliments. Adam was born in Savannah, Ga. and attended school in Pensacola, FL. He moved back to Savannah last year. In his off time, Adam likes to bike and go to the gym. “I can’t put into words how grateful I am to work for such a great person such as Paula. The past ten months have been amazing and I look forward to more to come”.

July 2009 - Jonathan Frazier
Jonathan Frazier is a member of our buffet attendant department. He has worked with us for about seven months. He will be starting his senior year of high school this September. Jonathan brings great energy and pride to his job every day. He has aspirations of enrolling in culinary school after he graduates. Jonathan looks to learn as much as he can during his time here at The Lady and Sons.

June 2009 - Alexis Williams
Alexis Williams has been an employee at The Lady and Sons for 4 years. She worked her way up from a server assistant to one of our best servers. Alexis is the 5th of 6 girls in her family. Her mother is her inspiration. In her off time she enjoys sports, cooking and writing. She loves meeting all the new people who come to The Lady and Sons on a daily basis. “The Lady and Sons has been an exciting place to work, and I enjoy my time here”.

June 2009 - Larry Taylor
Larry Taylor has been an employee at The Lady and Sons for 2 years. He works in our dish area in the mornings. Larry enjoys working here and is thankful for the opportunities he has had here. The friendly staff and guests are the main reason he likes coming to work. Larry looks forward to the coming years as a part of our team.

May 2009 - Toney Vaughn
Toney Vaughn is on our bus team. He is hard working young man who loves his job, and you can see it through his attitude and hard work. In his off time, he enjoys spending time with his 7-year-old daughter, Alexis. Toney also enjoys playing football, basketball and fishing. He loves working at The Lady and Sons because “of the friendly and family atmosphere.”

May 2009 - Rayshaun Johnson, Albert Bradley, and Javon Patterson
Rayshaun Johnson, Albert Bradley, and Javon Patterson were all named employees of the month. These three young men work on our night line. Our sous chef, William Moore, who is in charge of the night line suffered some serious health problems and was out of work two months. William’s presence in the kitchen was definitely missed. Without asking, Rayshaun, Albert and Javon all stepped up to work extra hours and effort needed to have successful nights.

April 2009 - Greg Duncan
Greg Duncan, one of our younger members of the night dish team brings energy and enthusiasm to the department. He has been with The Lady and Sons for 11 months. Greg enjoys working in the kitchen and hopes to have a long career here. He would like to move to our prep department one day. In his off time he enjoys hanging out with friends and listening to music.

April 2009 - Amanda Kalmar
Amanda Kalmar has worked for The Lady and Sons for six months. She is a server assistant her plan is to becoming a server and work for the Deen family until she graduates from Savannah State University. She enjoys working here and meeting people from across the country. In her free time she enjoys cooking and spending time with her two year old twins, Karyzmah and Mekell.
March 2009 - Patricia Brantley
Patricia Brantley has been with The Lady & Sons for 4 years. She works in the Hoecake/Bread station. She enjoys being able to cook at the same time getting to meet guests from all over the world. In her time away from working she likes to read, sew, and take care of her family. Patricia is hoping to work several more years before she retires.
March 2009 - Daniel Swan
Daniel Swan has been with The Lady & Sons for five month. He is part of the bus team. He brings energy and southern hospitality to the job every day. Daniel is from Kempner, Texas. He moved to Savannah for some “fun in the sun”. Why did Daniel want to work at The Lady & Sons? “The best people want to work at the best places…..Paula is the best!”
February 2009 - Tiffany Bulloch
Tiffany has been an employee at The Lady & Sons for four months. She has been a great addition to our Buffet Attendant staff. Tiffany likes the fact that her job allows her to interact with our guests. On her off time she enjoys shopping with her friends. She is looking forward to the exciting spring and summer months here at The Lady & Sons.
February 2009 - Adam Wolfinger
Adam has worked for The Lady & Sons for three months. He has brought an intensity and strong work ethic to the bus team. Adam was born in Savannah, Ga. and attended school in Pensacola, FL. He moved back to Savannah last year. In his off time Adam enjoys to bike and go to the gym.

Every Single One of You at The Lady & Sons deserves a pat on the back for your most recent accolade. From the hostesses out front to the kitchen staff to the wait staff and everyone else. You all make The Lady & Sons what she is. Southern Living magazine asked readers to name their favorite destinations in the South to vacation, eat, shop and more. Over 41,000 votes were cast for the 13th annual Southern Living Readers’ Choice Awards, revealed in the January 2009 issue, The Lady and Sons is readers ’“Southern Favorite” restaurant.
