we are getting down to it....16 days to Christmas!
My plan is to get out today and wrap it up....wrap it up, get it?
Hey! Our softball team won the league championship! We went from 2 wins to second place last year all the way to top of the pile this year. The team was awarded a trophy the same size as our second place trophy so I immediately went to my friend Rusty at his sporting goods store and had an extra 2 feet added to it....you know, for the team. Not too bad for a bunch of cooks and artist’...plus one old guy.
We have been coaching Jack to ask Santa for the toys on his wish list this year and when Brooke and I took him to the mall to ride the winter train he spotted Santa. You could not havestopped him with a truck. “ Dino’s, Dino’s Dino’s!”, all the way across the mall, running full sprint to make sure Santa got his list. People are surprised he was’nt scared but his desire for dino’s was much stronger. We are so excited to see him this year Christmas morning.
Can y’all believe we are going out with our entire family to sing Christmas carols from a tour bus?
Can you imagine the family that opens their door to us?
.....we are a lot of things, singers ain’t one of them.
Did y’all catch momma on The Tonight Show last night? Its hard to believe that my little ole’ momma, who was scared to leave the house for so many years, right there on the TV on The Tonight Show.
Jeez, what next?
We are shooting our cookbook photos next week and I have my fingers crossed that Jack will be in the mood to say cheese, if we can get the shot he will be on the cover with Uncle Bobby and his daddy.
Bobby and I are having a book signing at Barnes and Noble this Saturday here in Savannah and I expect to see all of y’all there.
Thanks for checking back, did y’all donate some coats? Its getting cold outside, save Savannah where it is a whopping 70 degrees, so don’t put it off. Maybe swing by the food bank and drop off some peanut butter.
Good job, y’all....keep doing good things
