Anyway, it seems harmless enough, I am not gonna promise I will do it forever but at least through our upcoming book tour so I can keep y’all posted as to where we are and whats shaking.
Mom sat down with us yesterday while we recorded our third podcast which will be available next week, and we had a great time. It lasted a hair under 30 minutes so block out some time before y’all fire it up. Momma has been in town for almost 2 weeks and its been a real treat for us around here to have her plug back into the day to day operations of the business. She has even come down to play famous at the restaurant a few days....speaking of, I need to get downstairs myself.

Hey Jamie,
I know you guys have enjoyed having momma around for a while. My husband and I are planning on coming down for the book signing on the 24th. Any special advise you can give us on what time we should get there and can we bring our already purchased Deen Family cookbook or do we need to buy one at the signing.
I’ve got my mouth all set for some collard greens and fried chicken.

I can only imagine how busy y’all are! Hopefully y’all don’t spread yourselves too thin (being involved in so many things) to where you get burnt out. I’ve gotten involved on the Get Cookin’ site, and I selfishly wish that y’all could be involved on there more. It’s already a great site, but it could always be made better if everyone was active on there. I guess y’all shouldn’t be so darn lovable! I can’t wait to hear the next podcast! I’ve been a “follower” of your blog for some time but haven’t posted any comments until now. First off, is anyone going to comment on Bobby’s and Kathy Griffin’s kiss?! That episode was great! It was fun seeing y’all in that environment. And Brandon - well, lawd,lawd, lawd - the boy is a hoot!

Hi there!! I have been on and off of here for the last couple of days. My parents and two of their close friends are in Hilton Head and planning to come see ya’ll tomorrow, and needed some info. We were there last year, and had a wonderful time. I am a huge fan, but since I cut off the cable to save money, I haven’t gotten to watch your Momma on tv for a while. I just love you guys!! BTW, the picture of Paula swinging Jack in the yard was really good! All the gym time is paying off for her. She’s really getting into shape. I just recently purchased a jar of your mama’s vidalia onion peach grillin merinade at Central Market...well after finding out that I didnt have either fish nor shrimp in the freezer...we decided
to use it on butterflied chicken breast.It was

I’ve been a Deen Family Fan for several years. I had an opportunity to visit Savanaha last month and it is my new favortie vacation destination. It was just beautiful. Eating at the Lady & Son’s was a dream come true for me. I also have two sons that cook so I bought each of them cookbooks. I have two daughters also, but just can’t get them into cooking yet. My husband and I are comming to Savannah in September for our 50th.wedding anniversary.We come every year on my birthday as my present from him.
