Jack’s room is so cool….

of course he still sleeps in the crib. When I go up in the mornings and he is buried under his blankies in his little nest I understand his hesitance to change.

I can’t say I blame him. I would hold out too.

So mom dropping her pants was the talk of the town last week....and evidently of you-tube. Y’all may have caught her on Oprah last Friday. If Oprah caught wind of it you know people are talkin’. The funny thing is when mom told me her pants fell down during the show she was so casual and I did not blink an eye.

“Battery pack get you again?” I asked. “Yep” she said. “Spanks?” asked the son. “Yep”. And that was it.

Its not the first nor the last time my mom will show her rear end on a stage but people were shocked but it was a two second slice of our conversation. That’s just us I guess.....sometimes your pants fall down and sometimes they stay up.

By the way I am sure that won’t be the last time my mom shows her rear end on a stage. Stay tuned.

“Best Dishes” is here filming for the next two weeks and I am slated as a guest on Friday. I love when I get to work on the show and we will be cooking out of the new Deen Brothers book, “Take it Easy”.

Speaking of books, The Deen Family Cookbook went up for pre-sale yesterday and if y’all enjoy our books this is a must see. The cover is a shot of the entire family and loved ones and the dogs and is slap full of brand new ideas and recipes. I think you can find it at http://www.pauladeen.com. It’s really awesome.

Tomorrow is my favorite day...Four years ago on March the 5th, Brooke and I were married. I have been busting my tail to get down to my wedding day weight, still trying to lose my baby weight you know, and I didn’t quite make it. Only missed by 40 pounds.

Just kidding, missed it by 14.

Friday is mom and Micheal’s anniversary, I think its 6 years for them. Friday is also Uncle Bubba’s daughter’s birthday. Happy Birthday Corrie.

It’s basically celebration week around here.

It’s time I got back to work, thanks for checking back and y’all go do some good things.
