Sorry Ladies

its the old married guy again.....

I am glad y’all enjoyed the posting by Bobby last week, he got quite the response.... maybe he will check back in soon.

We are gonna change the drop day for the new blog posting to Tuesday instead of Monday. Monday is full of meetings for us here and then trying to catch up from the weekend and by the time I get home and spend time with the family its too late.... I think I was only able to make one Monday anyway. So Tuesday is the new day....

This is a big week around here as Jack is turning 2 on Thursday.... hard to believe its been 2 years. It is amazing how fast time clips by when you measure it with a child by your side.

We have been working with him on his celebration skills and when asked how old he is he holds up both of his index fingers and says TWO!!! He has also been practicing his blowing out the candles and may blow the icing off of the cake....he is good at blowing.

My wife’s folks dropped their baby boy off at Georgia Southern this past weekend and his Mimi (Brooke’s mom) is staying here for the week. Granny (my momma) has blocked off the week for his party so she is here as well and its a nice break for Brooke and I to have the double tag team. Our plan is to try to go see a movie this week.

Sometimes it’s the small pleasure’s.....

News about the Paula Deen cruise:

If some of y’all have plans to go it will be so much fun. We have now done four and its a great time for us to get out as a family (a BIG family, everyone goes) and also spend some time being ourselves and just hanging out with everyone. Brooke and I will not be making the trip this year....its in Alaska for those who don’t know, and while Jack is ready for almost anything his momma and me ain’t ready to carry him across every time zone and keep him on a cruise for eight days"Aw, it will be easy” everyone says....huh. Kiss my grits it will be easy....... If it moves back to the east coast next year count us in otherwise, Bon Voyage Y’all.

Folks have asked about a new recipe every week and I think its a great idea so y’all look for that starting up next week. If anyone has a special occasion or request drop me a line and we can find something together…

thanks for checking back y’all......do good things
