Jack is getting his big boy furniture delivered!
I can’t believe my little baby is moving out of his crib...time just flies. He turned two and a half last week and it seems like only yesterday that he was still sticking everything in his mouth and we had to keep the pee-pee tepee handy.
I wonder how many of y’all know what that is?
The whole famn damily got back from South Beach in one piece andI noticed that mom didn’t get as much sunshine on her face as Bobby and our cousin Jay did....of course those two guys are single and probably didn’t lay down untilthe sun came up each day.
Brooke and I had the chance to go three years ago and since there is a banon 2 year olds in South Beach we had to sit this one out. It really is a tough event to bring the little ones, nothing really cranks up until bedtime and we areright in the middle of the"staying home is easier"stage.
You couldn’t pry the details out of those guys with a crowbar but I will keep y’all posted on any details that may slip out.
March is right around the corner so if y’all haven’t made your plans for St. Patrick’s day inSavannah, now is the time. If some of y’all can make the trip I promise you will have a time that you will never forget. My first year in Savannah I stayed downtown with a fiend a block from Forsyth Park and woke up to the sounds of a traditional Irish jig....at 630 am. I peeked out the window and saw six grown men dancing around a keg of beer and thought “what have I signed up for?"We had a great time but I remember I was back in the bed by lunchtime. It took me a few years to figure out the right pace for cocktails in the middle of the day.
Hey, thanks Deb M. for sending me the card with the recipe. The bulldog on the front lookslike our dog Champ and the Red Velvet Whoopie Pies may be my new best friend. I will keep you postedon how they turned out.
Gotta run, thanks y’all and keep up the good work.
